In its three acute care hospitals, the network offers the following main areas of expertise: cardiovascular medicine in the Augusta Hospital, orthopaedics in the St. Vinzenz Hospital and oncology, surgery and radiotherapy in the Marien Hospital Düsseldorf.  High-precision radiation therapy is used in radiotherapy and radiological oncology. The clinic's repertoire includes three linear accelerators, which are equipped with a Conebeam CT. The WDGZ offers a wide range of services in the areas of health check-ups and preventive medicine at a high medical and scientific level. The neurological rehabilitation centre, the St. Mauritius Therapieklinik in Meerbusch, integrates hospital and rehabilitation clinic. This means that patients, many of whom travel to Germany for treatment, can be treated in one place and from one source, from the respiratory ward to the exercise facility.
