Düsseldorf Airport is the largest airport in North Rhine-Westphalia and an international hub for people and goods, know-how, ideas, technical and cultural stimuli and an important economic factor in one of the strongest economic regions in Europe with 18 million inhabitants within a radius of 100 kilometres.
Before the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, 25.5 million passengers were counted annually at the airport, about 70,000 passengers on average per day. Passengers could choose from over 200 tourist and scheduled destinations in intercontinental and European traffic as well as within Germany and 70 airlines. Together with its partners and service providers, the airport has developed a comprehensive hygiene concept to ensure that all passengers can reach their destination safely at all times. In the bright and airy terminal, the optimal operating procedures, service offers and the security concept are all setting new standards. In the central building, which connects gates A, B and C, passengers can check in their baggage quickly and conveniently at around 140 check-in counters.
A larg selection of shops, restaurants and cafés in the public area invite you to stroll and linger - 365 days a year. In addition, a wide range of services is offered, everything from a pharmacy to a dentist is available here.
Düsseldorf's city centre can be reached easily by taxi or train in just 10 minutes.
